In our third concert of the #qwowedding series – Something Borrowed – the Queensland Wind Orchestra again breaks the mould, this time presenting repertoire that you would not normally hear from a wind orchestra, supported by some wind band greats. With the majority of parts being played by individual players, this is your chance to experience these pieces in a new way.
Don’t miss Leonard Bernstein’s energetic Overture to Candide, John Williams’ exquisite Adventures on Earth – from “E.T. (The Extra Terrestrial)”, Percy Grainger’s mad Hill-Song No. 2, Frank Ticheli’s raw Wild Nights!, and George Gershwin’s ground breaking An American in Paris.
Tickets are available now via qwo.org.au. Don’t miss out!
