Tea and Scones was QWO's contribution to the 2007 4MBS Festival of Classics, celebrating the life and works of Edward Elgar and other British composers from classics to modern. Under the direction of principal conductor Craig Dabelstein, trombonist Adrian Head perfomed Gustav Holst's Concertante. Guest conductor Bevan Messenger took the stage for three works, including Elgar's As Torrents In Summer. A lively audience thoroughly enjoyed the programme.
