QWO held its annual general meeting on Monday 5 June 2006, combined with a fantastic social evening organised by Melissa, QWO Secretary. The audited financial statements from the year ended 31 December 2005 were presented and a new management committee was elected.
The new committee for 2006-07 is: David Law (President)
Lisa Squires (Vice-President)
Melissa Hickey (Secretary)
Francis Carroll (Treasurer)
Michael Gray QWO would like to thank retiring committee members
Clare Deady, Amy Walduck and Kathleen Harris who have all given
generously of their time and effort over the past years. All three
will of course remain involved with the orchestra and continue as performing
members. Thanks also to all the members of QWO who attended the meeting and made the evening a success.
