Three Australian Premieres in 2006 |

QWO has secured three Australian premieres for 2006. Along
with the premiere of John Mackey’s Redline
Tango that was announced last week, the QWO will also premiere Vientos y Tangos by Michael Gandolfi at
the ‘Let’s Dance’ concert in September and Grand Central Station by Michael Torke at
the ‘Speed’ concert in November. All three composers are overjoyed
that their music will now be heard Down Under and the QWO is very excited to be
involved at this level of wind band performance. The concerts shall prove to be
very exciting and events not to be missed by anyone interested in wind band
music.
